Ok-I read the forum on turning a quilt to complete the side borders......but not my problem. My quilt is just plain too big-and I need to "flip" it to start either quilting from the opposite side in or the middle out. Anyone done this? Advice?

Yes, I have done this, but only ONCE. I hope I never have to do it again. You must be working on a REALLY big quilt. I would suggest you start from the center (or whereever you stopped) and work to the end. Be careful with pinning to the leaders and you will need to constantly keep looking underneath to make sure you are not getting the back into a bind and off kilter.
