I just recently installed the ProStitcher and when practicing resizing and stitching out block patterns I noticed that in one particular area, the machine slows down and the stitches get really long and uneven, then teh speed picks back up and goes on to finish the block.
The troubleshooting section of manual states that it might be a SR encoder problem and I have tried to watch both encoders while it is stitching but I can not tell that either one has stopped moving. I have noticed, though, that the encoder that is on the PS carriage just barely rides along the back edge of the white wheel track. Is this the proper placement? I am a VERY visual learner and pictures work wonders with me, if they are available.

As long as the encoder wheel is staying on the white track and is moving the entire time the machine is stitching, that part should be alright. Please call Customer Relations and explain to them what is happening. They can help trouble shoot what is happening. Our number is 1-877-697-8458 M-F 8AM-5PM MST.
