Using magnets to load quilt back

| Recently, I saw a utube video where someone used magnets to mount her quilt backing on her frame (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QMElVnGdEY&feature=channel). I have an HQ16 with a studio frame and stitch regulator and prostitcher. If I were to use magnets, would it harm the computer components or would they be far enough away from the electronics. Thanks for your input! |

Using magnets to load should be fine. I would just be careful not to get them on the c-pod (side screen) or the handlbars.
