Vertical borders

| Turning the Quilt is such a drag that I'm determined to figure out how to stitch the side borders without turning or chunking. I watched your FAB instructional videos. With a fully loaded Quilt/batt/backing, you can't roll back and forth so how would you use the 'current resume position'. The only way that I can think is that after you quilt the body, you unpin the belly rollers and weave the quilt inbetween the rollers, stabilize the sides and start the vertical quilting. But this doesn't really save much time. Am I missing something? Thanks for any advice you can give me. Connie |
