What are the beeps for

When I am quilting along on a groovy board the machine beeps every so often. I assume that it is a warning or alert function but I can't figure out what it is trying to make me aware of. As others have noted the manual is lacking in info and does not refer to the beeps at all. Any suggestions? Am I going too fast (it is stitch regulated mode)? Too slow? Irregular tension? I am not sure.

it beeps when you go faster than the reluated stitch is set for; i sometimes just turn the sound off like free motion, othertimes i have it on in an effort to control my speed. hope that helps
