I am thinking about purchasing the micro handles. I am wondering if the machine needs the new updates first. I have never updated my machine as I am happy with the way it works now.
I am hopeing that the updates are not needed for the micro handles. Thank you Diane |

No you don't need any updates for the micro handles. I use mine so much that I had my husband take off the big handles. LOVE THEM LOVE THEM LOVE THEM.
They do take a while to get used to them, but once you do you'll love it. I have MUCH better control now. |

I love mine also. Best money spent, plus TOWA, for my HQ since I purchased it. These are pretty awesome. It didn't take me anytime to get used to them, as I just took them as soon as I put them on. I guess I was just made to fit them! They will really help you a lot in your quilting and work great for up close work. I use them for everything, but I really appreciate them for up close work.
Also, I don't know about any updates, but I bought mine with my new machine. Do call the help desk and ask them if you're concerned. Better to know about it now than later :) Debbie |

| In trying to install my microhandles on my Avante 18, the long silver bolts won't catch and tighten. Seems like the adapter is causing a problem...anyone know if it's OK to install them without the adapter? |
