I hope it's because of the holidays, but I really miss the old chatty answers that I would read on the old forum. It was part of my morning, almost like my coffee. What's going on out there in HQ16 cyberspace?
I think most people have been posting on the ASk an HQ Expert category. This forum does not seem as busy or "chatty" as you would say as the old forum. Maybe everyone is still trying to get use to the new format. I am also a member of a HQ16 yahoo discussion group and it is very active. I enjoy and learn a great deal from both.

I agree with Grandma Peg. This new site is not user friendly to me. Yahoos HQ16 site is easier to use.
How do I find the yahoo HQ16 chat group? I've looked and have had no luck. Thanks.
You can go to Yahoo.com and click on groups and the type in HQ16 in the box to search for groups. Here is the link, but I don't know if it will work through this forum. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HQ16/

I really like both groups but since the change, the HQ forum doesn't seem as active. Good luck.
I guess everyone has stopped talking on this website. I used to get up every morning get, my coffee and check HQ16 for the chatty questions and answers. Since the new website has been up, no one seems to want to discuss problems, solutions, or just share. I am so disappointed with the silence. Where are my quilters and their support? Talk to us!
Me too, GrammaPeg. I am a lurker - I don't reply very much, since everyone else seemed to get there with the questions and answers just before I needed them! But I login and read, read, read. So what am I up to? Before Xmas I bought the HQ Studio Frame, and I love it. It solved a lot of my leveling problems. The poles are sturdier and don't bend like my old ones.
I have just ordered a set of groovy boards for Baptist Fan and a stylus. My very first work from the back of the machine. Normally I do free style from the front. So I will have to put the back handles on, and get some blue painter's tape. I am so excited about trying this. I have never done panto's before! Gayle
