Do any members of this group know of any Round Robin quilt exchanges (online or otherwise) that some one could join? I would love to participate in one, but I am not sure how to go about locating one.
Thanks,

Round Robin???
A round robin is similar to a block swap. A person creates a block or medallion and passes it along to the next person who will add a border using either fabrics that the first person provides or their own fabrics in the same style and color scheme as the center block. Once they are done, they send the quilt on to the next person, who will do the same.

When the person receives their quilt back, several borders have been added to create an entire quilt top.

So the first person is only making the one block? I know you said that the secound person does just a boarder and sends it on, but can they also do another block, or are there rules...lol. back to topic. after all is said and done the quilt goes back to the first person? What a cool idea. On other blogs I've heard of the block swap but never really asked about it. Holler is you get something going it sounds fun!! Linda
Each person makes a beginning block for their medallion and sends it to another on the list of people participating. It continues on until everyone in the "robin" makes a "round" on each quilt and it goes back to its owner. For example, I have a large star for my medallion (center) block and there are six people other than myself in the robin. I send my block to the you; you send your block to the 3rd person, etc. When we get ours back, our block will have had six borders or "rounds" added to make a medallion quilt. It can be fun. I will let you know if I can get one together.
sounds like fun, count me in ;-)..
