I am having that same problem with the stitch regulator, expecially when just starting the machine. I have given up using the stitch regulator. I had a early problem with some of the boards going out and having to have them replaced and I don't remember having that problem before that happened. Now it is terrible. I probably need to take it back in again but I have been without it so long already. I am just using the manual mode.
