It seems that I read somewhere on this forum something about the studio frame being adjustable in that I can choose if I want a 12 foot or 8 foot length? I will be ordering my package soon and I am trying to decide where this set up will need to be set up.

You can set the studio table up at 4', 8' or 12'. It comes in three 4 foot sections. However, if you cut your tracks for a shorter length, you'll need to order an extra set if you will also be using a longer length.

Yes, the tracks are tricky. They lay 'inside' the frame so if you want a shorted length it would be hard to let the extra length just hang over the end. I thnk you would need to get a second set - one for the full table and one for the shorter table. else you would be riding over that cut.
