I am new at this - bought a used HQ Sixteen - love it, but as I was quilting, my needle jammed. I removed the needle, as it was the only way to get it unjammed. When I put the new needle in, it is hitting instead of making the correct revolution - what am I doing wrong - what did I do wrong?

This sounds like the same problem I had with my new Avante. It took a trip back to my dealer so he could adjust the timing and everything is running smoothly now.
