Discolored oil

First problem: the oil that came with my HQ in December just all of the sudden would nnot come out of the bottle as if stopped up. I tried everything I could to upstop it. So.......
I ordered a fine point oil applicator from another source. When it arrived I was disappointed to see that the oil was discolored and not clear as the bottle that came with my machine. I have heard that I should not use oil if it is discolored. Is this true?

I'll throw in my two cents. Different manufactures of oil have different grades different colors. Can't get the oil out of the bottle? When I first recieved mine i did not extend the aplicator out and turned the bottle to oil and no oil came out. That's because if you don't extend the aplicater tip, when you invert the bottle the bottom end is in air, so no oil will come out. Don't know is you are as silly as I?? Other than that call hq, they are wonderful. I'm sure you will have an answer soon...Linda

I did have the applicator extended and had used the oil several times before it just "quit". I have ordered and received another applicator into which I will transfer the clear oil from the HQ applicator.

I'm glad that you weren't as dodah as I was!LOL I'm also glad that the problem was resolved.Even if you did have to get another aplicater.;-) Linda

I also cannot get the oil out with my applicator. The tip was blocked and I couldn't even force a pin head down it. My husband drilled out the lumen for 2 inches, thinking the clog was cleared. I still could not squeeze out oil. I stuck another pin in it and it was still blocked further down. The other end, that sits in the bottle, is open, however (you can stick a pin in freely, but most of the tube is clogged with something. This is a brand new machine and bottle of oil. Still have not gotten the lumen of the applicator cleared.

Hi I just received my Fusion. Accordindg the the manual you are suppose to watch the DVD about how to use the handlebars and load the quilt. Where exactly is the DVD? I have looked through all of my boxes and can't fint it anywhere. Does anyone know which box it is in? Or does your rep bring it with them?
