Handi Quilter Christmas Pinterest Contest

Are you ready for a contest?

“What might you win?” you ask?

One lucky participant will win a $100 Amazon gift certificate just in time to finish your Christmas shopping and the three Handi Gadgets or HQ books/DVDs  that you posted to your board.

Here’s all you need to do.

  1. Create a board on Pinterest titled: Handi Quilter Christmas.
  1. Go to www.handiquilter.com and pin the official Handi Quilter Christmas logo (shown above) to your board from our home page.
  1. Pin as many quilt-related Christmas gifts that you would like to see under the tree. BUT, your board must include the following pins:
    • Five or more Christmas quilts (either re-pins from Pinterest or new pins you’d like to share)
  1. Add the hashtag #HandiQuilter in the Comments box for each pin.
  1. Be sure to follow Handi Quilter on Pinterest.
  1. Once your board is complete, send an e-mail with the subject “Handi Quilter Christmas” to contests@handiquilter.com with a link to your board. We are accepting entries until 5pm MT on December 14. We will choose one winner on December 17, 2012.
  1. Leave your Handi Quilter Christmas board up until January 15, 2013.

That’s it! So simple! And we know you are on Pinterest anyway, so why not try to win something in the process.  Here’s a sample board we created on the Handi Quilter Pinterest page:

OK, so here’s the fine print:

I sent the email to Handi Quilter as instructed when I was done with a link to my board, but there doesn’t seem to be an email confirmation back so I know you got it. Hopefully you got it! This is such a fun contest!

I’m having the same problem with the error message when I try to put the #HandiQuilter in the comment box.

So sad :( I live in Canada and cannot participate.

  6. Amy Roth says:

I’ve got all my posts up, but whenever I try to add the “#HandiQuilter” comment on my posts, I get this error message: “Sorry! You’ve hit a comment block. We think you were trying to post content that might be spam.” Have you heard of anyone else having trouble like this?

    • MK Chavez says:

I’m not very tech minded but I got my hashtags to attach with the description/comments on the post and not added in comments after they were posted. Don’t know if it’s right or if that helps.

    • Amy, I’ve only heard this from you. Hopefully it isn’t a widespread problem.

    • Elizabeth Barnett says:

this error message happens when you try to add the same bit of information many many times (I got as far as five pastes, before the error message appeared), then I edited the original description line to include the hashtag.
