“Modern View” by John Kubiniec

We love to see all of the fabulous quilts that are quilted on Handi Quilter machines. And we know that you do too!

John Kubiniec had his “fifteen minutes of fame” when he was featured in one of the Handi Quilter My HQ Story ads over the past year or so. Well, now he has garnered some more fame because one of his latest quilt creations, “Modern View”, is one of the quilts gracing the cover of the January/February issue of McCall’s Quilting. And of course, full instructions for making “Modern View” are included in the magazine. He’s had other quilts published in McCall’s Quilting, McCall’s Quick Quilts, and Fons and Porter Love of Quilting.

John was gracious enough to share photos of this great quilt which uses the line Bella by Lotta Jansdotter for Windham Fabrics.

Here’s John doing some ruler work on his quilt.

This photo really highlights John’s great quilting.

And here’s the finished quilt all quilted and bound.

Be sure to check out the January/February issue of McCall’s Quilting if you want to make your own version of “Modern View.”
