Keep Your Rulers from Slipping

There are lots of ways to make your rotary cutting rulers grip your fabric better and not slip.

You can buy Sandpaper Dots, Invisigrip, clear Fabric Grabbers, and Slipnots. I’ve used Sandpaper Dots and they definitely work. Some quilters have recommended putting dabs of clear nail polish on the back of rulers and sprinkling with either sand or salt. When that dries, it helps grip the fabric much like the sandpaper does.
