Organizing Your Quilting “Inspiration”

I subscribe to a lot of quilting magazines, which can take up a lot of space. Every few months I go through the magazines and tear out the projects that I like (along with the project insert sheet if the magazine has one) and tear off the cover; the rest goes in the recycling bin. I’ll top the project pages and pattern sheet with the magazine cover and put all the pages from that issue into a plastic page protector. The page protector then goes into a binder. A few years’ worth of magazine excerpts can go into one binder. I store pattern packets (also in page protectors) in the binders as well. When I need some inspiration, I just grab a binder and browse.

How do you organize project ideas and patterns?
