Shipping Technician

Scheduled Hours: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Duties include:

  • Able to prioritize and define workflow and requirements to ensure orders are processed and shipped timely and accurately
  • Ability to work within a team environment

Job Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting of quilting machines and boxed product (50+ lbs.)
  • Organization of inventory used in the assembly process

  • Working while being on your feet for long periods of time
  • Working with your hands to pull orders, assemble some products and palletize products
  • Potential of working with power tools or warehouse equipment
  • Quality inspection of shipments before they are shipped
  • Entry of information into computer programs (shipping & accounting programs)

Production / Assembly

Scheduled Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:30AM – 5 PM

Job Requirements

  • Frequent lifting of quilting machines (50+ pounds)
  • Organization of inventory used in the assembly process

  • Working while being on your feet for long periods of time (2 hours or more at a time)
  • Working with your hands to assemble small and/or large components
  • Potential of working with power tools or soldering tools
  • Quality inspection of inventory while assembling
  • Quality inspection of machine performance while sew testing

Customer Relations Coordinator

Scheduled Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Required Skills:

  • Must have computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Accurately enter data into multiple computer programs including ERP & CRM
  • Ability to professionally answer customer phone calls
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and explain precise information over the phone
  • One to three years customer service experience required, including dealing with difficult customers
  • Must be prompt and punctual to receive incoming phone calls and questions

Content Creator for Quilt Pro

Scheduled Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Handi Quilter, the worldwide leader in longarm quilting machines and accessories has an immediate, full-time Content Creator position available. Handi Quilter is an innovative company that provides quilters with the highest quality products and service. We pride ourselves in having a great work environment and offer competitive salary and benefits. This position works under the direction of the Product Development Director. The Content Creator will write and publish information for web pages, articles, ebooks, social media, and blog posts, to advertise and promote company products. Applicant should have experience with digital publishing, generating traffic, and leads for new business. This position will help reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about our company and products. Please share examples of your work (portfolio or links to published articles) along with your resume.

Content Creator Responsibilities

  • Research industry-related topics
  • Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms
  • Assist in creating and distributing marketing copy to advertise company and products
  • Interviews industry professionals and incorporates their views in blog posts
  • Edits and proofreads written pieces before publication
  • Conducts keyword research and uses SEO guidelines to optimize content
  • Assists in promoting content on social networks and monitors engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
  • Identifies customers’ needs and recommends new topics
  • Coordinates with the Brand Manager to illustrate articles
  • Measures web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)
  • Assists in minor updates to website as needed
  • Assists in creating projects for booths, blog posts, etc.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role
  • Experience in the quilting/sewing industry, owns a sewing machine a plus
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress)
  • Excelling writing, communicating, and editing skills
  • Time management skills
  • Familiarity with SEO
  • BS in Marketing or relevant field or equivalent years of experience
  • Required to live in Salt Lake area. Not a work from home position
