Territory Sales Manager

Duties:

  • Ability to find, develop, and maintain new and existing retailers within the defined territory (territory includes but is not limited to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Northern California and Reno, Nevada)
  • Help create and sponsor special sales events, educational events, and promotions throughout the territory by advising, coaching, and working with local HQ Retailers.
  • Participate in the set-up, operation, and tear-down of show booths run by Corporate or one of its authorized representatives
  • Complete all required paperwork on a timely basis to manage the events, promotions, and shows authorized by HQ Representatives and accounts in the territory
  • Required to complete and submit on a timely basis all expense reports, account reports, and other paperwork generated in the maintenance, management, and operation of the territory
  • Returns all business telephone calls, emails, and correspondence in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide specific information about accounts to other employees as needed to aid them in maintaining and working with those accounts
  • Attend all Sales Team functions, meetings, and conferences as required
  • May be required to perform any and all business duties that will aid in the proper management and development of business in the sewing and craft industry 

Requirements:
  • Required to dress in business casual or business formal attire during work hours and event participation
  • Limited weekend work may be required for shows and/or events
  • Professional attitude, demeanor, and language are expected at all times during the
  • execution and participation in and during all work related activities
  • Travel is 50 to 65 percent of this position
  • Must be computer literate in basic computer operation, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience in multi-state territory management and sales a plus
  • Knowledge of or participation in quilting/sewing/craft industry a plus 





Production/Assembly

Scheduled Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of quilting machines (50-80 pounds)
  • Organization of inventory used in the assembly process
  • Communication among team members
  • Working while being on your feet for long periods of time (2 hours or more at a time)
  • Working with your hands to assemble small and/or large components
  • Potential of working with power tools or soldering tools
  • Quality inspection of inventory while assembling
  • Quality inspection of machine performance while sew testing
  • Other duties as assigned

Accounting Specialist

Scheduled Hours:Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Required Skills:

  • Very detailed, thorough, and accurate

  • Good at resolving problems – especially as they relate to reconciling general ledger accounts and inventory

  • Ability to continually improve processes

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, etc.)

  • Computer skills and experience required (MS Excel, understanding and ability to use Accounting/ERP systems)

  • Experience with inventory a plus (receiving/Bill of Material/labor tracking/reconciliations/etc.)

  • Understanding of Accounting processes and procedures and minimum of 3 years’ experience required (how entries impact financials, prepaids, reconciliations, etc.)

  • Willingness to pitch in anywhere as needed (sales tax processing, AP, etc.) 


Additional responsibilities for Accounting Specialist include:
  • Working with other teams within the company

  • Answering telephone calls related to accounting

  • Filing and general accounting organization

  • Assistance with annual accounting/financials audit

  • Inventory reconciling

  • Other duties as designated by the Finance Director 

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or equivalent years of experience.
