HQ Needles

edited October 2011 in Ask An HQ Expert
I have unfortunately, mixed the sizes of my HQ Needles. Is there any way I can actually tell what the correct size of the needles are. I thought about tossing them all and purchasing new ones, but what a waste!!!!

  • Sfrankin53,

The size of the needle is engraved on the shaft of the needle. However, it is very tiny. If your eyes aren't good, you may need a magnifying glass. The following sizes correspond with the numbers engraved on the needles:
    Size 12 - 80
    Size 14 - 90
    Size 16 - 100
    Size 18 - 110
    Size 20 - 120

I hope this helps. Good luck and Happy Quilting!
