Trying to get set Jo

When trying to get quilter started I am getting a USB error message. Any idea what needs to be done to fix this. Also a small black Cord on the back has an end that is not connected. It is a female end with 3 small holes.

Donna, seems that the small black cable that you refer to goes into the "Y"encoder. Refer to PS User Manual page 11 paragraph 7 or page 27 paragraph 11, depending on HQ model.
