Sweet 16

edited June 2013 in Ask An HQ Expert
I am getting ready to quilt my first large project and am courious how to control the extra quilt material while quilting with my Sweet 16.

  • PatsyR,

There are a few ways you can control the extra quilt fabric. Handi Quilter makes table extensions that will fit on both side of your HQ Sweet Sixteen. They help hold the fabric on the sides. You can roll the quilt up and unroll as you go. Sometimes people will just bunch up the quilt. Whichever way works best for you make sure that the area you are working on is smooth on both the front and the back.

    Good luck,
