Whirring sound when stitching stops

edited December 2013 in Ask An HQ Expert
As I slow down and stop from stitching there is a definite whirring sound coming from the top part of the machine. This started yesterday and I wasn't doing anything different than I have been doing for the past three years. It just sounds like something has come loose and yet it seems to stitch okay. Any suggestions?

  • shc312,

If your machine is stitching fine you can keep stitching. However, if you have been quilting on it for 3 years and never had it serviced it might be time to take it to your local rep and have it serviced. If something has come loose they should find it when they service your machine.

    Good luck,
