Boys and Girls Club Auction
This quilt was so much fun. Relatively easy because it was a panel I purchased from Bernina's www.nuttallbernina.com. Then, I sewed a couple strips of fabric that matched the panel to make a little bigger, and I set out quilt.

The quilt was for an auction held last night at the Marriott in Salt Lake City for the Boys and Girls Club of South Valley, http://www.bgcsv.org/. My friend Shelly Parker is the Special Events Coordinator there and put the auction together. She has been working nonstop for the last few weeks - bet she
is still sleeping in this morning! Here's Shelly.
Shelly was Special Events Coordinator at Judge Memorial where my kids go to school, that is how we met. I got roped into helping with the Judge 2008 Auction - it was a lot of work, but so fun to get to know Shelly, that all the work was well worth it! Will tell you more about the Boys and Girls Club Auction results next time I meet with Shelly again.
So, the big elephant in the room is that it is 2/21, and I have only one quilt for February completed. My problem is that I tend to go bonkers with the hand-quilting. It is so fun to see the quilting lines! So, I'm not getting these quilts done on a weekly basis. I do have two more quilts in the works already for February, but not started on the quilting. Here are
pictures.

So, I guess I better cut down on my handquilting of the quilts I do from now on.
