Day 2 - Edmonton

Posted: 12 June 2009 at 10:17 p.m.

Well we're done day 2!  What a great group of students I've had.  I'm so excited for everyone to go home and play on their machines.  Central Sewing is a great shop, they are a huge sewing machine shop.  They carry a wide variety of machines, have 3 big classrooms, and a great staff.  I've had a great time here.  And we can't forget that I'm getting my fill of Tim Hortons, ahhhhhh, Timmies!

  • I nearly forgot... THANK YOU for the wonderful classes! Your an awesome teacher. I'm still in awe that you were able to keep 50 of us captivated for 18hrs. Have a safe trip home!

  • I wasn't suggesting you didn't miss Canada. I'm just a wee bit jealous is all. Personally, I would move south faster than you can thread a needle. :)

  • Thanks so much Meredyth. I really enjoyed spending 3 days of classes with you. Canada is a great place to be, I am from Saskatchewan and it is hard to bet the rural life there. Hope you have a safe trip home and happy quilting.

  • Canada has surely missed you! But I can't blame you, who wouldn't trade Canada for Vegas?!?
