Block of the Month

Hey there everyone....In Edmonton we got to see a beautiful quilt from one the students.  It was a Block of the Month with a lot of stitching on it and a wonderful saying in the center.  I finally found it, it's called:  Journey of a Quilter by an Austrailian designer called Leanne Beasley.  I might have to buy it...

  • I love the FART acronym. 9 times out of 10, when I leave the house, I am on a FART because it always seems I am on a fabric aquiring road trip. I LOVE IT. Is there a support group for people like us?

  • Hi there Kathy, Yes, it was the circle's board and the square's groovy boards that I cut in half. It makes them easier to work with. I love the FART acronym! Isn't it crazy the price difference on quilting stuff.....Have fun!

  • Hi Meredyth, I loved the classes in Edmonton. So much to learn and such fun. Was it the circle groovy board that you mentioned that works easier if you cut it? I just bought the one with the continous circle and the graduating circle in one. I am anxious to give it a try but we are in Montana on a FART. Fabric Aquiring Road Trip. Can't get over the US prices on fabric. Thanks Kathy
