Leaves

This is my first attempt at discharging. I can't wait for the spring and new leaves to grow on the trees. I want to do another. I quilted the inside using my micro handles with thread from Jenny Haskins. Inside the leaves the veins are Signature Pixelles and the leaves on the border are with Superior metallic thread.
And this is mine!!!

Discharging is a fancy name for bleaching. You start with a black cloth, place actual leaves on top and spray with a mix of bleach and water. When you reach the desired color place the fabric in a stop bath. Whats left is the imprint of the leaves.
