Explanation of the Dashboard

It is important to become familiar with your Glog Dashboard. This is where you will find all the settings related to your Glog. There are 12 categories in the Dashboard. Each one will be explained in the following paragraphs.

Dashboard

My Glog

Click on this to see what your Glog looks like to other people. This will show the front page of your Glog, and will show all your articles and posts.

New Blog Post

This is where you will go to add a new post to your Glog. You will name the post in the title box, and then type the post in the Content section.

Modify Blog Post

This is where you go to edit a previous Blog post. If you would like to add to a previous post, or simply misspelled something, this is where you can go to easy edit your Blog posts.

New Photo Album

To add photos to your Glog, you must first create a Photo Album to put them in. This is where you will go to create your Photo Albums. You can name the Photo Album in the title box, and add a description to it.

Modify Album

This is where you can edit the information for each individual Photo Album. You can change whether the album is live or not, and edit the Title and Description information.

Upload Photo

Here you can upload photos to put in a specifc Photo Album. If you want to add a photo to a post, you must first upload the photo here. You can name the photo, give it a caption, and change various other settings.

Update Photo

Editing information about a specific photo is done here. You can change the name of the photo, description, live status, and various other settings.

Choose Theme

Here is where you can choose the theme for your Glog. To change the theme, simply click the one you would like, and click the Change Theme button.

Update Profile

When other people view your Glog, they can click on a link to view your profile. Your profile is essentially a section where you can write about yourself so your fellow Glogers can get to know you. You can add photos to your personal description, and also add a Profile Photo, wich will be visible on next to the title of your Glog, in the upper header area.

Blog Settings

This is where you can change the title of your blog, along with its description.

Change Password

To change the password you use to login to your blog, you will go to this section. You will be asked to enter your old password, along with your new one.

Log Out

Click here to logout of your Glog.
