my summer
Posted: 4 October 2009 at 5:23 a.m.
I have returned to Hong Kong after a wonderful, long summer. I just uploaded a quilt I did to donate to the military at the International Embroidery Conference in a few weeks. I was able to attend 2 sessions with the wonderful ladies at the HQ Retreat and had a great time and learned a lot. I was able to spend the summer with my wonderful grandkids, and will be with them the end of October when I come for my grandaughter and daughter-in-law's surgeries. My DIL is donating a portion of liver to my grandaughter, so will help with the other 2 boys.

Hi Sandy, thought I would check out the HQ blog and came across your blog. Hope everything is going well. I just came back last week from the intermediate level and had a great time meeting everyone. It was wonderful to meet you in September and hope everything went well with your granddaughter and dauther-in-law's surgeries, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Keep in touch and let me know how things went. Gwenby Gwen Loiselle on 17 November 2009 at 4:15 p.m.
