Bryan Ruggles

Bryan has literally grown up in Product Design and Business Development. His father is a product developer, and so from a very young age, by the side of his dad’s drafting table, he watched his dad create product after product, from the Corvette bodies to the first tubular waterslides. Bryan began to develop his own design talents and leadership skills at Hydrotube. Since then, he has designed and engineered products ranging from cordless window shades to automated assembly machines. His largest body of work is in the window coverings industry where he worked for Levolor and other national brands developing various, award-winning products and automated machines. Bryan got on a shuttle bus at the airport once, wearing his Levolor jacket and a man said “make way for the blind man”.

In 2001 he created a Product Development company called Adroit Design. In 2010, he encountered the Handi Quilter management team and joined them because he recognized their talent and vision. In addition to his vast experience of sleeping under quilts, Bryan has a broad background designing commercial products, molded plastic parts, formed metal parts, textile based products and complete mechanical systems. He enjoys taking products from conception to commercialization. He graduated from the University of Utah.
