Mark Hyland
President/CEO

Mark began his career with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., in 1991, as store manager in store operations. In 1995, he joined Weider Nutrition International as a Director of Marketing. While at Weider Nutrition, he managed, created and implemented numerous projects, branding initiatives and growth strategies that assisted in providing a platform for the company to go public in 1996. At the end of 1999, Mark joined Fruit of the Loom Company as Director of Trade Marketing and Licensing. In 2000, Mr. Hyland was recruited to EAS, a portfolio company of North Castle Partners, as Regional Vice President of Sales. Six months after joining EAS, the company launched a new brand called AdvantEdge. He spent the next four years at EAS in a variety of roles and through a number of promotions, ultimately became the Senior Vice President of Sales. The AdvantEdge brand grew its sales from zero to $165 million in five years. In November 2004, EAS was acquired by Abbott Labs. In 2005, he became President/CEO of Vance’s Manufacturing, Inc., a provider of third-party manufacturing of food and nutriceutical products. The company grew from $3 million to over $13 million under his leadership. In 2005, Mark was recruited by Peterson Partners to join Handi Quilter as President/CEO. He has a bachelors of arts degree from Brigham Young University.
