Richard Eich
Electronics Design Engineer

Richard has been a member of the Handi Quilter team since 2005. He began as a Technical Advisor where he acted as a liaison between Engineers, Management, Customer Relations and Customers. As Handi Quilter continued to grow, Richard’s efforts were directed toward Engineering where he was needed to assist in the design and production of such products as the HQ Pro-Stitcher, HQ24 Fusion, HQ18 Avanté and the HQ Sweet Sixteen.
When Richard is not designing new circuit boards, he can be found training Handi Quilter Reps on all the electronic workings of the Handi Quilter machines, or assisting in the creation of new technical and user manuals. Richard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology with a minor in Manufacturing from Brigham Young University. He also attended the University of Utah where he pursued a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering with an emphasis on Bioinstrumentation.
