Shaun Johnson

Senior Software Engineer

Shaun comes to Handi Quilter with more than 20 years of software development experience with an emphasis in robotics and communication protocols.  He has worked in all aspects of software development, including requirements gathering, design and architecture, development, testing, installation, and customer support.  He has worked in both small and large companies and uses this broad view of methodologies to choose the best course of action for the software development at Handi Quilter.

Even though Shaun has always enjoyed developing software, he has never before found the opportunity to combine programming with great works of art.  Handi Quilter gives him a unique opportunity to see his effort put to use to create beautiful quilts that inspire and uplift those who view them.

Shaun enjoys reading, fishing, bowling, computer games, and spending time with his family.  He loves getting outside to enjoy the nature that Utah offers.  He has lived in Texas, Washington, France, and Italy.  He has visited California, Idaho, the New England area, Scotland, Korea, and Hawaii, but has never found a place he’d rather live than right here in Utah.
