U of HQ retreats are held in the HQ Studio in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah. You’ll spend 2 ½ days with our HQ studio educators learning basic to advanced techniques for using your longarm machine.

Each student has her own HQ18 Avanté to use for the 2 ½ day retreat. The small class size of 16 students ensures a 1-4 teacher to student ratio, perfect for personalized attention and hand-holding. We’ll strip away those bad habits and start you off on your way to successful machine quilting.
